JFA Brisbane has undertaken hundreds of missing person investigations for a wide variety reasons.  These might include: -

• Long lost loved ones or family members
• An old high-school, college or military friend
• A runaway teen or missing child
• Mentally ill persons
• Missing heirs
• Debtors
• Witnesses

The resources we have developed over the past 20 years enable us to find virtually anyone, often quickly and inexpensively. We use time-proven professional investigative techniques, which can often allow us to locate someone in hours (or even minutes) when others have failed.

Some caveats

Given the nature of a general missing person inquiry and the varied reasons a person might legitimately not want to be found (e.g. a violent domestic situation) we will only undertake a missing persons investigation under the following provisos: -

• The inquirer (you) is prepared to fully identify themselves to us.
• The reason for the location request is for a viable and ethical / moral reason.
• If at any point in the investigation we find you have not been truthful with us about the reason for your request and that this information would have affected our taking on the matter in the first place, we will cease work immediately.  No refund will be provided.

Fees and charges

The base charge for a missing person investigation is $150.  This will involve an initial interview where all the relevant information about the missing person is obtained.  A series of preliminary database searches (many of which are proprietary to JFA Brisbane) are then undertaken and approximately 1 hour of follow-up telephone investigation work is conducted.  If the missing person has not been located, we will give you further options and the likely costs for proceeding.
